Boopzy is a Dallas based artist, born in the U.K.

I am interested in the dialogues that surround gender and sexuality. The topic of sexuality is centered on the concept of power, with only two genders placed into a binary system. Instead of portraying the stereotypical power dynamics of the sexually aggressive male and the sexually passive female or reversing these roles, I present intercourse as less about power and more about pleasure, emotion, and lust. The figures in my work become gender neutral with all genders playing active roles. Looking at sexuality from an inquisitive standpoint, the imagery I use presents sex as a sensual, embarrassing and humorous endeavor in an unapologetic manner.
